Whew! What a weekend! I am just now (it IS Thursday, isn't it?) recovering.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SPROUT!!!

Look out HIGH SCHOOL! She is coming to TAKE OVER! As we Mac women do. (in a good way)

We are just beginning to adjust to the new summer schedule. I get to sleep in an hour later (yippeeeee!) Bryan and Cindy don't need to get up. Bridget has to babysit at 8:00 -1:00 or so. I have a lot of things planned this weekend but the #1 thing is to have fun and enjoy my family. And go to church. And play with the furkids. And the furkitties on the porch.....

you get the picture I am sure.

...and now for something magical

Bridget wrote a note to me at church on our first Mother's Day together. In it she thanks me for giving she and Cindy a home, food and keeping them clean. I keep this note in my Bible and it always makes me smile and remember the little girl she used to be.
Thank you, Bridget! I love you!!!

Hello. How do you like the blog's name change? I like it so far. I just realized that in nearly every entry and also in nearly ever hour of every day I find my self saying,

"I need to......"

or

"I need to find the time to....."

I AM TIRED OF IT!!!!! WHY isn't there time? Where is my time going? Why don't I do it (whatever it is that I need to "find" time for) Everyone has the same amount of time and yet I keep thinking I am going to "magically" FIND time somewhere. I imagine myself finally emptying all the full laundry baskets and

VOILA!

Underneath all the clean clothes I find TWO HOURS! Yippeeeee!

That would be great, but it is NOT going to happen.

Something magical...

Cindy made a painting at school that I have hanging on my bulletin board at work. It is a watercolor painting of a windmill, fence and a barn. The sky is purple/gray ~ very twilight looking. All the objects are facing a pond which is a beautiful blue-green-gray color...very realistic looking. The painting was folded to then create the image of the windmill and barn in the water like a reflection.

I have not told Cindy this, but I think this painting is awesome! I think I am going to have it framed. I love staring at it at work. (I hope it is not to obvious here). It is definitely one of those things I will treasure forever...

Ciao peeps!

Yikes! Nearly an entire WEEK has past! So many things have happened. Where to start...where to start...

First, my youngest daughter, Cindy turned 12 on Friday. One last year before she is officially a teenager. (In some ways she has been one for about 4 years now, but I digress). Friday we celebrated Cindy's birthday with 2 of her closest friends. There were no casualties.

Saturday was a magical day (I am trying to incorporate MAGIC into my life at all costs. Bryan and I happened to find ourselves at an antique shop and I fell in love with a 7' x 4' white wooden cabinet. I knew when I saw it that it belonged in our home. So that is where it is now. The owners of the shop know Bryan's grandparents, we met a lady from Chenoa there who also knew them....

Hello, peeps! Happy Wednesday.

I am not prepared for church tonight so that is my plan for lunch today. Eat and prepare. Take notes and eat. Although I don't know what I have to eat. (gasp)

My coworker Robert looks exceptionally goofy at the moment. He has the phone receiver to his right ear while still wearing his headset on the left ear. I just roll my eyes and keep walking. The entertainment value is a definite plus around here.

Tena and I had a good laugh over my Mouse-cleaning Episode this morning. Canned air is always good for a laugh. Add to that the sound effects from my computer (when an email comes in it sounds like breaking glass)and we were crying.

Anyway, so I haven't accomplished much today. Not that I really expected to. It is nearly impossible somedays. I am surprised that I can still complete coherent thoughts at 5:00 after what I go through here. But it is all worth it every other Thursday. Whoo Hoo tomorrow is payday!!

It is nearly Cindy's birthday...May 14th is coming quick. She wants music, money and diamonds. She is registered at Tiffany's.

Must run,

Ah... it's nice and quiet today. I like Tuesdays! Thursdays are better, Fridays are the best, but Tuesdays are nice too.

I feel mentally brain dead today. I hate that. I haven't taken any decongestant or anything today but I have the brain FOG.

I can't wait for school to get out (why? I still have to work! I tell myself...) Bridget has 5 days, Cindy has 5 or 7 and Bryan has about 9 or so. Danielle graduates from 8th grade this year. Yep, the Beaner herself will be a Freshbean next year at Pontiac High School. We will be making the trek North for her ceremony whenever that is. Told ya, it's the "fog".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have got to start working on my house! It is a mess! There's stuff everywere! Well, ok, yes, it is for the most part mine, but still! I have to have a PLACE to put it away so that I CAN put it away. Right?
Would anyone like to volunteer to help the McMillan CleanUp? We do take donations so remember to give till it hurts.
Anyone?
Anyone?
hello?
Wow! What a week! This week will be just as busy and chaotic. Cindy turns 12 on Friday which means a party, presents, sleepover and cake. Am I prepared for these things? Noooooo. Of course not. That would mean planning ahead and having time for doing just that. Which I don't.
Tonight - Cindy's chorus concert + Bridget's track meet
Tomorrow - vet appts for Charity and Skyler
Wednesday - church, people, church! Wednesday = church!
Thursday - meet with Tracie about letter for grant
Friday - Cindy's birthday and sleepover that night
Oh! My head hurts already. Is it lunchtime yet?
I hate the title of this blog.
icky. icky.
Lately it seems there is time for NOTHING. Somehow the few hours between work and bed vanish {poof!} and I lay in bed wondering how I got there. Then just as suddenly, I am waking up to the only radio station that will come in and I have to start the whole mess over again.
What is going on? Is there some mysterious time-warp going on? (great...now I have "Time Warp" going through my head! Well, its better than "We built this city" which is what WAS going through my head.)
I saw my "sis" BEANS, over the weekend! Yeah! :) We tried to set Bryan up so she could scare him, but it backfired and she ended up jumping! (I am rolling my eyes here...) Check out Danielle's page on the website. It is still under construction, but some awesome photo's are coming soon.
Well, I hafta go again...Duty calls.
Ciao!
