Sick Sense of Satisfaction
Lots of things make me happy and give me that "sick sense of satisfaction".

Wrestling, Wrestling, Wrestling....
'Ello!
From October to March of every year - WRESTLING takes over the McMillan household. This year there was a bit more adjusting to do than normal since my husband became the EHS Wrestling coach as well as the youth wrestling head coach.
What WERE we thinking?
Can you say BUSY?
I don't see how he did it. He was away from home 7:30 - 8:30 every day of the week except Friday. Then Saturday was bus trips in the horrendous mid-western winter we have been having - sometimes leaving as early at 5:30 - yes. That is A.M. Then Sunday is IKWF (youth) wrestling day.
I love watching my son wrestle. I think he has a real talent for it (Not to brag but record right now is 30-1) but I am ready for Spring and Baseball season!

The Triumphant Return!
I had abandoned my blog due to "stuff" getting in the way (life mostly) - but I AM BACK!!
(insert trumpets blaring here)
So to begin - let's think of a happy thing....
.... .... uh
OH! I know! Recently, my youngest son Dash started his baseball career in T-Ball. He was #1 (no, seriously - look on his shirt - he was #1). Here he is after getting his uniform shirt:
Awwww. I think he was telling me to quit taking pictures or something like that.
Also, my oldest son Jett played in the Khourey League All-Star tournament - which his team WON!
Ah - look at all the handsomeness!
(in this pic Dash was screaming to wear Jett's medal. Ah to be Four again....)
Reen out.

2008 was the Year… …of the RAT!
The McMillan home was inundated, yes, with rats. Not just in the basement, not just in the kitchen. So War was declared.
McMillans: 30, Charity: 1, Rats; 0. Winner? McMillans!! (no photos available, sorry). It was found the spring rains and construction near the tracks were the culprits. We were not the only family invaded in the neighborhood.…
J.D. turned 4 in March – party ensued. Fire Department was called. We got to ride on the fire truck, tour the department and eat pizza with the guys. …
Cindy turned 16. License issued. Tickets issued. License returned …
Bridget moved out.
That was pretty much it.

I just re-read my entry about my Priorities and I have made some progress. I knew this would not be an overnight change. But I am getting there.
Last night what I learned hurt me more than anyone has ever hurt me. So I let that person know. After I called bawling my eyes out, I hear .................................nothing.......................that's right nothing. Then I lost the call. So I waited for a call back. I thought AT LEAST Bryan would get a call. Nothing.
I know I have said this before but that is it. I am NOT going thru this person dying the Smoker's Death. Been there. Done that. Dad, Mom, Mark, Uncles and Aunts - aaaalllll same thing. coff coff coff hak hak hak "oooohh if only I had KNOWN this was going to kill me!" they say.
They know.
And apparently she wanted me to know OR at the very least wanted me to find out indirectly since she did it right in front of my 5 year old. So that's it. In one year and 7 months I will be free of the disappointment. Free of someone hiding or pitching stuff that belongs to me (like the CIPS bill...) Free of being ignored! Able to walk into a room and not be hated. I can have my house back
My LIFE back!
I cannot wait!
