A Moral Dilemma . . . What To Do
What would YOU do if you caught a coworker on a website that was completely inappropriate for viewing at work? Not a pornographic site, at least not to my knowledge, but a "matchmaking" website? Now keep in mind, this is the same coworker who accused one of your best friends at work of "flashing" him and accused another good friend of having an affair with a coworker. (All of which were untrue and just figments of this guys deluded imagination!) This man trashes his own mother and would snitch on himself if he thought it would do any good. I had my suspicions about this coworker and these types of websites because our spam filter was blocking emails to him.
I figure my options are:
1. Go to my supervisor.
2. Try to get more people to "catch" him.
3. Go to the VP.
Problems I see with these solutions include:
1. No good. I have gone to her before with complaints. Nothing was ever done, nor would I ever expect anything to be done this time.
2. having our internet usage watched. Everyone's usage. That would not be good. I am talented enough to do my work and build my own website (with no one knowing, I might add).
3. Getting the VP more mad at me. He protects this guy, he is our "token", but no he isn't black.
So you see what I am dealing with.
Trash.
I need to move.
