Yikes! What has happened to my blogging ability?

The update:

1. LA Trip did not pan out
I am so bummed that I did not get to go to LA to see and help out at the animal shelters there.

2. People at church have gone totally "outer limits"!
Christians are to be "tolerant", "patient", "kind", "understanding" and "loving" as well as good examples for other people especially new and non-Christians. I have neither witnessed nor felt these things at my church recently. When our pastor asked for prayer requests during Sunday School class, I spoke up and asked for prayers during our trip out of state to work at the animal shelters. One man, a former pastor, yelled so much about animals don't need to be saved etc etc. (I will not put any more that he said in here. I am no longer listening to any words that come out of this man's mouth). To sum everything up, I was offended. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you are NOT to shove your opinion down the other person's throat. Christian or not.

I sat for the rest of the hour with tears of rage streaming down my face, my hands were raw from my fingernails being pushed into the palms of my hands. I had to concentrate on SOMETHING to keep me from going postal.

In other crazy-people-at-church news, the animal-lover's wife is the substitute piano player. We have learned that she detests any music that is played in church that is NOT played on the piano should not be allowed AND that any of the special music that the kids and I sang (which was not your typical old-time hymns, but modern Christian music) she also abhorred.

Maybe it's their water.

(I have forgiven these two people... BUT I do not engage in any conversation with them outside of "hello" and answering their questions. God did not put me on this Earth to be a doormat!)

3. Work - Is THAT what I do? I don't know WHERE to start. Cathy - excellent receptionist - was fired. Tena - excellent customer service chick - quit. New dress code (verbal only, nothing in writing). Lack of communication. Lack of "team" spirit. Lack of everthing.

I listen to people complain all day. I don't think this is the same business I came to.

Well, that is my life in a nutshell. I go to church with people I would rather avoid. I work where I would rather avoid the people I work with AND the customers I work for.
